EM’s Sunday Ramble

A bit late in the day but here are my answers to EM’s Questions, which this week have a literary theme.

Do you prefer digital, paperback, or hard bound books? I much prefer a physical copy of a book over electronic books. On the whole I favour paperbacks as they tend to be easy to carry as they fit in my coat pockets.

Do you have a library full of books or just your favorite tales?

I have a fairly well stocked library which spans several genres.

Harry Potter, Narnia, or Twilight? (You can choose all three or pick and choose.)

Ummm probably Narnia, though that is more down to childhood nostalgia for the BBC adaptions I saw as a child rather than CS Lewis’s prose.

Do you like when books are turned into movies?

It depends on the adaption to be honest. I am not one who gets my knickers in a twist if things are altered because what works on the printed page might not always translate to screen.

What is a book that you have read over and over again?

The Time Machine by HG Wells

Doctor Who and the Daleks by David Whitaker

Hi Sandman! Thanks for joining in on the book rambles. I like what you said about the books translating to the big screen because I had not thought about that. I selfishly want it to be just like the books when I watch the movies based on books. That was a great point! Paperback won the ramble 🙂
